Grape blend: Viognier, Trebbiano Toscano
For those, both young and not so young, who like bubbles (but not alcohol), for some years now at the Fattoria we have dedicated ourselves to sparkling grape juice. As often occurs for “adult” sparkling wines, the bottles of Mini-Spremuta contain a cuvée of grapes: Trebbiano (an autochthonous white Tuscan grape) with its light flavour, has important acidity and freshness, and Viognier, which gives aromas of exotic fruit such as pineapple and mango, as well as good sapidity. The grapes for the Mini-Spremuta follow the same “route” as the Sangiovese ones in the Spremuta di Uva, with the difference that the skins are not left in contact with the juice, and that, during cooling, it’s enriched with fizzy bubbles of CO2. Closed with a classic spumante cork, it is ready to be opened... with a loud “pop”!
Tasting – Golden, intense yellow colour with typical sediment which “moves” when the bottle is opened and mixes with the rest of the juice. Aromas of white-fleshed fruit, in particular quince and small rustic pears, with hints of chamomile and tea leaves. The flavour is sweet and, at the same time, vivacious with a pleasant note of apple; to be served chilled.
Important: it doesn’t have any sulphur dioxide added!
