Grape blend: Verdicchio, Trebbiano Toscano
An unfiltered “Spumante” but… without alcohol! It “descends” from two grape varieties, Trebbiano Toscano and Verdicchio, the latter typical of the Marche region. The “cuvée”, the mixture of the two grapes, has well-balanced aromas and taste. Trebbiano grapes are golden-yellow, with a delicate flavour, important acidity and freshness; Verdicchio grapes have a shade of green even when fully ripe, together with floral and fruity aromas and flavour. The juice from these two grapes has a complex aromatic profile, with excellent sapidity and a delicate undertone of almond blossom. The sparkling, organic “Mini- Spremuta frizzante” is a good companion for carefree children’s parties, but also for adults. There are many occasions on which to drink something good and non-alcoholic, for example birthdays, baby showers, aperitifs, or simply as a genuine alternative to the usual sugary soft drinks (a bottle of Mini-Spremuta contains roughly 45 mg of polyphenols, natural antioxidants). The procedure for making this children’s “spumante” is the same used for the “Spremuta di Uva”, with the difference that the skins are not left in contact with the juice and, while cooling in the pressurised tank, it’s enriched with little bubbles, ready to come out with a loud “pop” at the first opportunity!
Tasting – It’s an intense golden-yellow colour, with the typical sediment (it’s unfiltered!) that “moves” when the bottle is opened, and mixes with the rest of the juice. The fragrance is of white-fleshed fruit, in particular quince and pear, with hints of Mirabelle plums and gooseberries, heightened by the absence of sulphur dioxide. The flavour is sweet, fresh and, at the same time, vivacious with a pleasant note of apple. Serve it chilled.
Important: it doesn’t have any sulphites or sugar added!
