Ingredients for roughly 14 sweet treats:200 g Viallella or another chocolate spread (plus enough to fill them) 1 egg150 g plain white flour
In a bowl, beat the Viallella with the egg; then add the sifted flour, a little at a time, and continue stirring until you have a homogeneous and compact mixture. Shape it into small balls, about the size of ping pong balls, and arrange them, with a bit of space between them, on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. With your index finger, gently press down in the centre of each ball to create a cavity. Bake them in a preheated oven, at 180 °C, for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and leave to rest for 10-15 minutes. Using two teaspoons, fill the “hole” in each treat with Viallella.
With a few ingredients (three!), a little time and effort, you’ll have some delicious, fragrant treats… that will disappear in the blink of an eye!
