Soft and light, like a “nube” (= cloud) in spring, this wine, slightly tinged with pink – a gift from the Pinot Nero – stands out for its low alcohol content, as well as being fresh, delicate, soft and fruity. Its “lightness” is the result of careful, precise control of the ripening of the various types of grapes; in fact, the riper they are, the more they accumulate sugar which will be transformed into alcohol. NubeRosa is an unusual and fascinating blend of autochthonous and international grape varieties, of white and black bunches, picked at different times according to their characteristics.
Tasting – Colour: coppery white, with onion-coloured tinges. The nose: elegant floral notes, accompanied by a delicate hint of hay, entwined with Golden Delicious apple and a walnut finish. In the mouth: deliciously light, with a subtle effervescence given by the richness of CO2 from fermentation, which propels the notes detected by the nose onto the palate.
Wine and Food Pairing – In the glass it has the grace of an aperitif and makes a good match with appetizers, pasta with vegetable and fish sauces, grilled vegetables and various kinds of “bruschetta”. It’s also excellent with fish dishes that are not too flavoursome.
