Two rare guests in the land of great reds – Fattoria La Vialla’s rosé wines! The rosaRosa is made using Montepulciano Cerasuolo grapes, grown in loose soil at 400 metres a.s.l. using organic methods, which make the wine aromatic and very sophisticated, combined with Sangiovese, the quintessential Tuscan grape variety, which gives the wine its structure and strong personality. The Barriccato Rosé is an unusual wine, aged in wood but young. It’s made with Sangiovese grapes that grow in La Vialla’s vineyards in the Valdarno area, in clayey soil with tuffaceous and sandy layers, and it “rests” for ten months in barriques and tonneaux. The result is a wine with a bright colour, a delicate yet assertive aroma and a lively, soft, intense flavour.Characteristics of the “Viallino” rosé wines: organic guarantee, closed production cycle, natural yeasts, almost no sulphites
In addition to rosaRosa and Barriccato Rosé, La Vialla also produces rosé Metodo Classico (Méthode Traditionnelle) and rosé Metodo Ancestrale (Ancestral Method) sparkling wines, using the Fattoria’s Pinot Nero grapes grown in the Oltrepo Pavese area.
