La Vialla’s gluten free Fusilli are made with 100% wholegrain rice flour, with many benefits for health and also for the palate.... they smell of wholegrain rice and have a special, unique flavour. In the carefully chosen, artisan pasta factory in Cuneo - in Piemonte, the Italian land of rice - the rice flour is mixed with the right amount of water and then “drawn” through traditional bronze dies (just like normal pasta). The drying phase, a very delicate moment, then follows - for approximately 20 hours, at a low temperature, 33-34 °C. In this way the pasta maintains a nice coarse texture, which is also useful for “picking up” the sauces it encounters.
