The Sangiovese grapes picked for this “neither mosto (= grape must) nor vino (= wine)...”, are those that have a good sugar content and higher level of acidity. It’s not filtered and doesn’t contain any added sulphites, to favour a fruity, sweet freshness.
Tasting - Colour: ruby-red, not very intense. The nose: small red fruits, floral aromas, dog rose. In the mouth: effervescent and inebriating, it encapsulates the richness of the grape harvest.
It has two tops: one is a crown cap for pasteurisation and the other, a natural cork, is for the health of the wine and acts as a deterrent for children (in fact, Mostovino is slightly alcoholic and, with its colour and bottle, looks similar to our freshly squeezed grape juice).
