Grape blend: 100% Sangiovese

Acidity: 4.9 g/l
Residual sugars: 120 g/l
A young, light wine, in which it‘s still possible to discern the aroma and flavour of must before fermentation begins: no longer grape must, but not yet wine. Fermentation is blocked after just a few days, by cooling the must/wine when it reaches 7% vol. It‘s immediately bottled and pasteurised to avoid refermentation.
Tasting – Colour: ruby red with paler highlights. The nose: wild strawberries and a "vinous“ fragrance, which recalls the aroma of the winery. In the mouth: lively, pleasantly sweet but also flavoursome thanks to the tannins and aromas detected by the nose.
It has two tops: one is a crown cap for pasteurisation and the other, a natural cork, is for the health of the wine and acts as a deterrent for children (in fact, Mostovino is slightly alcoholic and, with its colour and bottle, looks similar to our freshly squeezed grape juice).
